Simple design that gets the point across to the target audience is more effective than a cool looking design that confuses or loses the target audience.  Even though there is a lot of content on a website it doesn’t mean it has to have long or confusing menus or pages.

We just helped design a very simple site for Kennesaw First Baptist Church who has a lot of ministries and content.  They wanted most of the basic information and links on the front page without scrolling down the page and simple drop down menus that consolidated the content to just a few menus.  They also wanted to be able to edit the content easily.

We used WordPress CMS and the Education theme from StudioPress (also used this theme for our website for O2 Graphic Design).  I’ve been very impressed with the Genesis framework and the child themes from StudioPress.  We were able to easily change and design a different look but use the basic framework and theme from StudioPress without making a lot of changes.  This is an inexpensive and easy way to help ministries rather than designing from scratch.

I’m working on another website now for another ministry using the Corporate theme.  I look forward to showing you this site soon.
