Create a Custom Brush in Adobe Photoshop

Use any selection tool to select a part of an image to use as a custom brush. I’m using an ink drop image. Once you have selected part of the image, choose the Edit menu and select Define Brush Preset. Type in a name for the brush and click OK. I named my brush Ink Drop. You will now see your brush in the drop down box of all the brushes you can choose from when selecting the eraser or brush tool.
